Maret extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 3-0. They walked away with a 48-35 victory over the Banneker Bulldogs. The Frogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

As for Banneker, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Banneker lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jason Afeni, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. Ahlik Walker was another key player, putting up nine points and three blocks.

Maret wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-33 win against Alexandria City on the 13th. As for Banneker, they have also already played their next game, a 59-49 victory against Anacostia on the 12th.
