Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Parkview walked away with it. Everything went their way against the North Atlanta Warriors on Thursday as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Panthers have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Daelan Jones-Teasley tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Malachi Washington was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Lambert, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Parkview's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for North Atlanta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-14 record this season.

Parkview will head out to square off against Hillgrove at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Atlanta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
