Baseball Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Hillsboro fell victim to Carlyle and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 10-0. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Carlyle, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-20.

Coming up, Hillsboro will take on Carlinville at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Carlyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
