Westlake entered their tilt with Jackson on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Westlake's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson, with the loss, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-7.
