Fabian Garcia of
San Benito has earned MaxPreps Texas High School Football Player of the Week honors.
Garcia, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound senior, ran 32 times for 274
yards and a pair of scores in a 21-10 rivalry game win over Harlingen. He has 1,179 rushing yards and 16 TDs for the season and another 251 receiving yards with four scores.

Guyer (Denton): Senior wide receiver hauled in eight passes for 170 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 24-18 win over Allen.

Red Oak: Ran for 262 yards and five touchdowns on 27 carries while catching two passes for 35 yards and another score in a 56-37 win over Killeen.
