Baseball Game Preview: Clifton Central Comets vs. Kankakee Kays

Clifton Central is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since April 11th on Monday. They lost 11-1 to Wilmington. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kankakee owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Thornton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kays.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Deany, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Devin Arbour was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Clifton Central's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Kankakee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-22.
