Softball Recap: Hydro-Eakly Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Hydro-Eakly had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Arnett Wildcats as they made off with a 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hydro-Eakly's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Arnett, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hydro-Eakly will host Seiling at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Bobcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Arnett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mooreland at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.09 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
