Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Takes a Loss

Ravenna lost against St. Paul back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bluejays fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-9.

Zoey Morrow paced Ravenna's offense, picking up six kills. Morrow got some help from Ebony Bock and her six assists.

Aubree Fitzgerald was nothing short of spectacular for St. Paul: she had 11 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Fitzgerald a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keislyn Poss, who had ten digs and two aces.

Ravenna now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Paul, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Ravenna and St. Paul will both be playing Arcadia/Loup City the next time they take the court. The Bluejays will head out to face the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
