Alliance hadn't done well against McCook recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Bison by a score of 12-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Alliance saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Regan Cornish, who went 4-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Cornish has posted since back in August. Maci Cornish was another, going 2-for-4 with two triples and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Alliance kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are 6-3 when they post 11 or more hits.

Alliance's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for McCook, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Alliance has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 victory against Bayard on the 27th. As for McCook, they will welcome Adams Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
