Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton managed to slip by Harrisonville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 11-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Harrisonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clinton is set to square off against their familiar foe Warrensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harrisonville will challenge rival Odessa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
