Bleckley County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Telfair County Trojans. The Royals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Emmie Williams made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Williams wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ashanti Flagg, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Flagg has hit this season.

Bleckley County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive contests.

Bleckley County's record now sits at 18-5. As for Telfair County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Bleckley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Telfair County, they will square off against Tiftarea Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
