Football Game Preview: Columbine Rebels vs. Denver South Ravens + How To Watch

The Columbine Rebels will take on the Denver South Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Columbine is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Ralston Valley, who was ranked third at the time (Columbine was ranked 23rd). The matchup between the Rebels and the Mustangs didn't end well, with the Rebels falling 35-21. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbine might have lost, but man, Mark Snyder was a machine: he rushed for 148 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Denver South scored first but ultimately less than Chatfield in their contest on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 33-16 to the Chargers.

Columbine will have to contain Daniel Lucado as he made an impact in Denver South's last game. He rushed for 123 yards and one touchdown. Lucado is becoming a predictor of Denver South's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 0-5 when he doesn't).

Columbine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Denver South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Columbine against Denver South when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-20 victory. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
