Softball Recap: Coosa Comes Up Short

Coosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Model Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 two weeks ago.

Coosa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dixie Orebaugh, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run.

Coosa's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Model, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Coming up, Coosa will welcome Christian Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Model, they will head out on the road to square off against Chattooga at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
