Baseball Game Preview: North Paulding Wolfpack vs. Parkview Panthers

For the second straight game, North Paulding will face off against Parkview. The Wolfpack will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (North Paulding 3.3, Parkview 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

North Paulding is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Parkview 6-4.

For Parkview's part, Winston Barnett made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Santos Wade, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

North Paulding has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Parkview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-16.
