Pleasant Hill had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oak Grove Panthers a 1-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Roosters/Chicks have posted since September 10th.

Not much got past Devyn Younce, who gave up just two hits to keep Oak Grove off the board. Younce has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Pleasant Hill's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Oak Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-5 record this season.
