She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in August. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, Alexis McClain was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in August. Michayla Bledsoe was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.
Shaw always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .875. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
