Westlake waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Douglas County Tigers an 18-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-5 win on Thursday.

Westlake's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Douglas County, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Coincidentally, Westlake and Douglas County will both be playing Chapel Hill the next time they take the field. Douglas County will head out to face Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Westlake will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
