Softball Recap: Hydro-Eakly Comes Up Short

After flying high against Keota on Thursday, Hydro-Eakly came back down to earth. The Bobcats fell just short of the Wister Wildcats by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Hydro-Eakly's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Wister, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-10.

Hydro-Eakly wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Quinton on the 3rd. Wister does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
