Softball Recap: Smoky Hill Gets the Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, Smoky Hill was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over the Northglenn Norsemen. That's more bragging rights for the Buffaloes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kiley Snyder was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ailey Henry, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Smoky Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .531. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .382 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Smoky Hill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Northglenn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Smoky Hill and Northglenn will both be playing Prairie View the next time they take the field. The Buffaloes will head out to face the Thunderhawks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Norsemen will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
