Alliance won the last time they faced Bayard and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 10-6. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Alliance got a big performance out of Alivia Osborn, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base was Osborn's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Maci Cornish, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Alliance always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory made it two in a row for Alliance and bumps their season record up to 9-16. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Bayard, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-11.

Coincidentally, Alliance and Bayard will both be playing Lexington the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Minutemen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
