Football Recap: Greenbrier West Takes a Loss

If Greenbrier West was feeling good fresh off their 52-12 takedown of Summers County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Raiders on Friday.

Greenbrier West now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Liberty, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Greenbrier West will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Pocahontas County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will square off against James Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
