Softball Game Preview: Manchester Blue Devils vs. Jordan Red Jackets + Official Tickets

The Manchester Blue Devils will face off against the Jordan Red Jackets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Manchester turned things around against Kendrick on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cherokees with a sharp 18-1 victory. The Blue Devils not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 20-0).

Jordan couldn't beat Sumter County on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Red Jackets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 11-10. The Red Jackets have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to 3-19.

Manchester came out on top in a nail-biter against Jordan in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, sneaking past 10-9. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Jackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
