Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Triton). They took down the Western Harnett Eagles 41-22 on Friday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Alan Hinson threw for 162 yards and two TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes. Branden Hicks was his top target, picking up 91 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Jamarcus Shaw rushed for 122 yards and a pair of scores.

Despite the loss, Western Harnett still got an impressive performance from A.J. Manning, who rushed for 44 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards.

Triton's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Western Harnett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Triton and Western Harnett could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Hawks (ranked 263rd) will meet Union Pines (ranked 86th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Western Harnett will take on South Johnston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (359 vs. 171).
