Football Recap: Capitan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Capitan and Hozho Academy pushed the score to 62-8 the last time they played Hozho Academy, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Tigers came up short against the Wolves, falling 26-0. The Tigers lost against the Wolves in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-8 score last time.

Brandon Bonaguidi looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 44 yards and three scores.

Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hozho Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Capitan has already played their next matchup, a 46-0 defeat against Tularosa on the 19th. As for Hozho Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-14 win against Pojoaque Valley on the 19th.
