Softball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Pierce County Bears, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-9 back in August.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Pierce County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Brunswick will head out to challenge Toombs County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pierce County, they will take on Crisp County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.13 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
