Farmington won the last time they faced Cibola and things went their way on Saturday too. The Scorpions walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars.

Farmington hit Cibola with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Axel Reyes, Carlos Palma, and Dayton Bizzell.

Farmington's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 5-8-1. As for Cibola, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Farmington is set to face off against their familiar foe Piedra Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cibola will challenge rival Volcano Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
