The third road game was the charm for Mount St. Mary, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Western Heights Jets on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mount St. Mary's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Western Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Mount St. Mary will be playing at home against Bridge Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Western Heights, they will head out to square off against Santa Fe South on Tuesday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.38 runs per game on average), something the Jets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
