Baseball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

Harvard fell victim to Marengo and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harvard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Nulle, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Nulle is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Harvard has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for Marengo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.

While Harvard had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
