Megan Schmidt put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in October of 2024 on Thursday. She struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
