Softball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora lost against Northwest back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huskies came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-1. The matchup marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Aurora saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrianna Brei, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northwest, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Aurora didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Beatrice on the 6th. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Kearney on the 6th.
