Softball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

Adams Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tekamah-Herman Tigers.

Adams Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucy Svoboda, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Ady Landauer was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Adams Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Tekamah-Herman, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Adams Central has already played their next match, a 9-7 defeat against Highway 91 on the 13th. As for Tekamah-Herman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-2 loss against Boone Central on the 13th.
