Carolina Forest was the 3-2 winner over St. James when they last played one another on September 11th, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carolina Forest actually scored more points across those five sets (102-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-23, 16-25, 15-11.

Carolina Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for St. James, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Carolina Forest will challenge North Myrtle Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. James, they are taking a road trip to take on West Florence at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
