Georgia high school football: Skyler Williams of North Murray leads state passing yardage leaders

Junior signal caller threw for 462 yards and four touchdowns two weeks ago in a win over Pickens.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, junior Skyler Williams of North Murray (Chatsworth) leads Georgia high school football in passing yardage. See the complete list of the top 50 passers in the state below.

Murray has thrown for 910 yards and helped the Mountaineers to a 2-1 record. Against Pickens on Aug. 25, the signal caller put up 462 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-37 shootout win. 

Sophomore Chase Dupree of Southwest (Macon) is second with 875 passing yards. He has topped the 300-yard mark in two of three games this season.

Freshman Teddy Jarrard of North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw) is in the state’s top 20 with 675 passing yards. The first-year signal caller has completed 62.7 percent of his passes for the 2-1 Eagles.
