Football Recap: Palo Alto Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Palo Alto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 31-14 bruising from the San Mateo Bearcats.

Although Palo Alto took the loss, they still got scores from Kacey Washington and Clement Romanski.

Lukas Fitzgerald produced another solid effort rushing for 119 yards and one touchdown for San Mateo. Fitzgerald is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

Palo Alto's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for San Mateo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palo Alto will host King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Mateo, they will take on Menlo-Atherton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
