Soccer Recap: Sigourney Comes Up Short

Sigourney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Lee Hawks, falling 6-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central Lee this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in April.

Sigourney's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Central Lee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-6.

Sigourney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Lee, they will welcome Mediapolis on Tuesday. Mediapolis will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Central Lee surely won't give up without a fight.
