Softball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sumter County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Red Jackets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 11-9 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Jackets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Sumter County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jordan is set to take on their familiar foe Columbus at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sumter County will face off against rival Hardaway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
