Baseball Recap: Mount View Takes a Loss

Mount View lost to Bucksport last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Golden Bucks by a score of 5-4. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount View saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Bradeen, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. The Mustangs are 3-1 when Bradeen posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Brady Bryant was another, earning one RBI and two stolen bases.

Mount View's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bucksport, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Mount View will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Old Orchard Beach at 11:00 a.m. on the 30th. As for Bucksport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against George Stevens Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
