York has gone a perfect 5-0 against Proviso East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dukes will look to defend their home field against the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for York and six for Proviso East.

Meanwhile, Proviso East didn't have quite enough to beat Downers Grove South on Thursday and fell 5-3.

York's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Proviso East, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-26.
