Fans were treated to a battle of the Yellow Jackets on Wednesday. Wayne County came out on top against Southeast Bulloch by a score of 7-3. For Wayne County, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 victory Southeast Bulloch walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Wayne County and bumps their season record up to 7-4. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 3-2 Appling County (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 67.5% over those games). As for Southeast Bulloch, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne County will square off against Appling County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will be playing at home against Liberty County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
