Soccer Recap: Madera South Comes Up Short

Madera South lost against Sanger back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Madera South Stallions lost 3-0 to the Sanger Apaches. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Apaches are ranked 39th).

Madera South is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-5. As for Sanger, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-1-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madera South has already played their next match (against Bullard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sanger has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Justin Garza.
