Softball Recap: Holyoke Takes a Loss

Holyoke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to the Sterling Tigers. If the Dragons were looking for revenge after losing 16-4 to the Tigers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Holyoke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sterling, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holyoke will venture away from home to square off against Chase County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sterling, they will face off against University at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
