Baseball Recap: Crisp County Comes Up Short

Crisp County and Burke County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Crisp County had to settle for second. They lost 9-1 to the Bears. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Crisp County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-21. As for Burke County, their victory bumped their record up to 19-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crisp County beat the Bears by a score of 14-3 on Saturday.
