Football Recap: Mescalero Apache Comes Up Short

Mescalero Apache lost against Mesilla Valley Christian School back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chiefs lost 45-22 to the SonBlazers. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mescalero Apache now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mesilla Valley Christian School, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Mescalero Apache will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Hagerman/Lake Arthur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mesilla Valley Christian School, they will head out on the road to square off against Gateway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
