Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Kaimuki

Kaimuki waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-43 win over the Castle Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Loss or not, Castle got some senior leadership from Keidan Uehara and Statton Vilardi. Uehara posted 14 points, while Vilardi scored seven points and three steals. Saumahe Haney- Tongotea was another key player, putting up six points.

Kaimuki's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Castle, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Kaimuki will head out to take on 'Aiea at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Castle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kalani at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
