Football Recap: Elkhart Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Elkhart extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-8. They came up short against the Greeley County Jackrabbits, falling 42-22. The Wildcats were down 40-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

As for Greeley County, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-7 record. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greeley County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rowdy Grubb, who rushed for 100 yards and one score. Grubb didn't just play on offense: he also made 15 total tackles and defended one pass. Peyton Jenkins got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

As of now, neither Elkhart nor Greeley County have any future games scheduled.
