Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sterling). Everything went their way against Bayard on Friday as they made off with a 19-5 win. Considering Sterling has won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Sterling and bumps their season record up to 4-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Bayard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Sterling has already played their next match, a 10-5 defeat against Wellington on the 6th. As for Bayard, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 victory against Limon on the 6th.
