Soccer Game Preview: Benton vs. Millville

The Benton Tigers will take on the Millville Quakers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Millville will be up against a hot Benton squad: the team just extended their winning streak to nine. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand Montgomery a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. Benton's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, Millville's matchup on Saturday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Montgomery as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Millville haven't had any issues with Montgomery recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Millville's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Benton, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Benton beat Millville by a goal in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Quakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
