Underclassman Carlin Weber came into Saturday's matchup looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Saturday, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Weber and Lamar will head out to challenge La Junta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
