Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Juniata Valley). They blew past the Curwensville Golden Tide 68-21 on Monday. With the Hornets ahead 47-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Juniata Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Taylor out in front who went 8 of 10 on her way to 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That's the most points Taylor has posted since back in February of 2024. Aubrey Anderson was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double on 12 points, ten assists, and nine steals.

Juniata Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory (which was Juniata Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 8-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Curwensville, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.
