Westlake had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Chapel Hill Panthers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Westlake pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Westlake will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
